- There are a number of toll roads in the area. If you don’t have a toll tag already, NTTA has a Zip Pass account for visitors.
- The north side of the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport is under construction, and chances are you’re going to have to go through at least some of it to get to the church. The DFW Connector project has a great website with up to the minute information on road construction and lane status.
- The Texas DOT has an interactive map with current DFW Traffic status.
Shopping
- The hotels are across from Grapevine Mills, which has the Saks Off 5th, The Nordstrom Rack, and Legoland.
- Northpark is across town, very upscale. Neiman Marcus is here--though the original one is in downtown Dallas.
- The Galleria is in North Dallas
- North East Mall is just south of Grapevine
- Southlake Town Center (next municipality to the west) has a Container Store and Coldwater Creek Spa
- Arlington Highlands has the Penzey's Spices store
- We don't go here often, but there's a few good resturants at the Shops at Legacy
- And there's always my favorite frou frou grocery store that has the wall of cheese (among other delights): Central Market
- And of course there's an IKEA just up the road in Frisco
- Which is next to Stonebriar Mall
